Billings, Montana, March 12, 2008 - The 2008 St. Vincent Healthcare Child Safety Fair and Health Expo will be held at the Montana Pavilion at MetraPark on Saturday, March 15th from 10am-3pm. Admission is FREE!
The Child Safety Fair and Expo is an annual event aimed at educating both children and parents on important health and safety issues related to personal security, internet safety, fire safety, lifesaving techniques and drug prevention. The latest in child safety and health information can be interactively explored through the eyes of dozens of local organizations and business that serve area children and families.
Children will have the opportunity to participate in many interactive exhibits that will teach them everything from just how many germs are on their hands to how much sugar is in a can of soda. Parents will also have the opportunity to talk with trained law enforcement about safety issues such as internet safety, and fire safety. Also see the emergency response vehicles. There will be certified personnel performing car seat checks to see if they are properly installed.
There will be exhibitors with information on the various summer camps and activities they have scheduled for kids as well as outside activities for families to enjoy together such as the many bike trails throughout the Billings area.
