Cancer Care
St. Vincent Healthcare is a regional referral center for the diagnosis and multidisciplinary treatment of all forms of cancer. The Cancer Care Center is comprised of a team of expert physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals who provide quality patient care.
Oncology Certified Nurses, who have passed a nationally recognized certification test, are available to provide the best possible care available. An oncology clinical nurse specialist is also available for cancer education, support and a weekly cancer support group. Our multidisciplinary care team provides care management services, clinical nutrition, rehabilitation and spiritual support. In addition, in order to maintain a leading edge on the latest treatments, St. Vincent Healthcare participates in cancer treatment trials with the National Cancer Institute and various biotechnology companies.
