Northern Rockies Regional Pain Center

At Northern Rockies Regional Pain Center, we believe it is our responsibility to provide state of the art pain management services to every member of our community.   

Working together, the team at Northern Rockies Regional Pain Center works with the patient and their family toward the following goals:

  • To reduce pain from becoming a disabling force in an individuals day to day life activities.
  • Return patients to a more active and satisfying lifestyle.
  • Educate patients and family about the disease of chronic pain with an emphasis on symptom management and coping skills.

Referrals, Becoming a Patient

Northern Rockies Regional Pain Center treats all pain syndromes including post surgery pain, chronic pain, and cancer related pain. Patients are admitted into the program by way of referral. The referral may come from from a physician’s office, medical facility, or via medical case manager.  The Northern Rockies Regional Pain Center does not able to accept self referrals. The first time a patient visits, they receive a comprehensive evaluation and plan of care.

Patient Responsibility

Because of the nature of the Pain Management Program, patients accepted into the program are expected to actively engage in their treatment process and comply with certain program requirements which are outlined in the patient treatment plan.  Failure to follow these guidelines may jeopardize participation in the program.

Consultation Service, Physician to Physician

Physicians of the Northern Rockies Regional Pain Center will provide consultation services to physicians or other medical professionals who manage patients with challenging pain problems but who wish to retain responsibility for the ongoing care of their patients. 

Treatment Options

A focused and integrated interdisciplinary approach to care is provided under guidance Pain Management Specialist. Treatment options may include any combination of the following treatments.

Treatment options may include the following:
  • Physical Therapy
  • Occupational Therapy
  • Behavioral counseling and support groups
  • Biofeedback training and hypnosis
  • Relaxation and stress management techniques
  • Pharmacotherapy- Opiod medications are never the ONLY treatment.
  • Invasive medical procedures
  • Trigger point injections
  • Joint injections
  • Epidural injections
  • Nerve blocks
  • Radio-frequency treatment
  • Neurostimulator Implants
  • Intrathecal Medication Pumps
  • Other surgical treatments

Insurance and Billing

Billing services are provided by the St. Vincent Healthcare Medical Practices Division billing office.  For questions regarding your bill or payment, please call 406.237.5620.

Insurance Filing

We will send clinic charges directly to your insurance company.  Charges not paid by your insurance plan will then be billed to you.

Co-Payments

If your health insurance plan requires you to pay a co-payment, that co-payment is due when you check in for your appointment this includes government funded programs such as Medicaid or HIS.

Payment Plan

If you are unable to pay the full amount of your bill when due, please let us know.  We will work with you to arrange a payment plan.

Financial Assistance
